Reflection:

These artifacts are the summation of Basics  of Effective Instruction in Physical Education course. Collectively, there are a recourse packet for teaching a reciprocal style teaching lesson using a scavenger hunt. This teaching experience broaden my horizons and taught me to think outside the box. Even though it is said that, "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" we need to continual strive for improvement. We need to be creative in our planning to produce solid outcomes for every children. This activity created a unique situation in which students were linked together. Essentially, this forced  teamwork and cooperation. However, scavenger hunts in general provide valuable opportunities for children to work together, developing social skills, resorce management skills, and physical movement skills. All the while, "learning through the physical."  During the process of breaking down the skills and benefits of a scavenger hunt, it became evident that this simple activity leads itself to heart and soul of child and adult alike. Thus it is a great activity to develop in the classroom.
